In this remote, long-term contract, you will serve as Sr. Accountant supporting a busy finance team during year-end and audit preparation. You will drive close activities, ensure accurate ledgers, and partner with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. You will work with Business Central and Power BI to analyze trends, support reporting, and strengthen financial oversight. This role offers meaningful accounting work, continuity during staffing gaps, and exposure to audit cycles.

Responsibilities
• Lead year-end close activities and audit readiness efforts
• Reconcile deferred revenue and investigate discrepancies tied to revenue-tracking changes
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy; support monthly/period-end close
• Perform account and bank reconciliations; document variances and findings
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to provide schedules and documentation during audits
• Maintain continuity of accounting operations during onboarding and leave coverage
• Utilize Business Central and Power BI to review financial information and support reporting
• Contribute fund accounting knowledge to improve reporting accuracy and oversight

Key requirements
• Senior-level accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience with year-end close and xklufbp audit readiness
• Proficiency in reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management
• Ability to partner with stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
• Familiarity with Business Central and Power BI
• Fund accounting knowledge (advantage)
