Where our jobs come from

Every job on Opplaus is either posted by a verified employer or collected from a public listing and labelled with its source. Here is how both work.

    Posted directly on Opplaus by an employer whose company we have verified.

    • The employer manages the job and its applications
    • You apply on Opplaus
    • The employer can edit or close the job at any time
  • Sourced from JSearch

    Sourced jobs

    Public job listings collected from other sites through our job data provider.

    • Labelled with the site they came from
    • You apply on the original site
    • The original publisher can change or remove the listing

How we verify employers

A company has to pass our checks before it can post a job. Recruiters who post for a company confirm who they are and that they work there, so every job post has someone accountable for it.

  1. Company details

    We check the company’s registration and tax ID.

  2. Documents

    The company uploads its business documents securely.

  3. Manual review

    Our trust and safety team reviews the company before it can post.

How listings stay up to date

Sourced listings are refreshed from our job data providers, so changes made by the original publisher reach Opplaus, and listings that are removed there stop showing here.

Verified jobs are kept current by the employers who post them: they can update a job, and close it once the role is filled.

Each job shows when it was posted, and you can filter job search by date posted to see only recent roles.

Spot a problem?

We organize listings and combine duplicate copies of the same job where we find them. If something still looks wrong, tell us and we will review it.

Are sourced jobs real?

Yes. Sourced jobs are real listings published by employers or job boards on other sites. We show where each one came from, and you apply on the original site.

Can I see only verified jobs?

Use the Source filter in job search. Choose Opplaus verified to see only jobs posted on Opplaus by verified employers, or Sourced jobs to see listings from other sites.

What should I do if a job looks wrong?

Contact us with a link to the job and what looks wrong. We review reports and remove listings that break our rules.
