Sales Associate

Serve as the main contact for customers. Help with organizing and maintaining plan-o-grams and store programs. Ensure shelves are adequately stocked with merchandise. Carry out additional tasks to support profitability, customer satisfaction, and team cooperation while safeguarding company assets.

Duties and Essential Job Functions

• Unload incoming shipments.
• Follow company procedures to receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise in the storage area or transfer directly to the sales floor.
• Create product displays.
• Place merchandise on shelves and ensure proper rotation and facing.
• Restock shelves with recovered products.
• Provide assistance to customers in locating items.
• Compact cardboard and remove trash.
• Sweep, mop, and clean store floors, restrooms, and storage areas.
• Follow all company policies and guidelines.
• Welcome customers as they enter.
• Operate the cash register and scanner to process purchases and bag products.
• Accept payments and provide correct change to customers.
• Help with merchandise ordering using hand-held devices as necessary.
• Tidy the front of the store and assist with arranging sidewalk displays when required.
