Unit Manager

Overview

The Unit Manager position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient management of resources. The role requires collaboration with various healthcare professionals to support the delivery of exceptional care and meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage unit personnel, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.

• Coordinate staff schedules, including weekend on-call responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of employment.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Previous leadership experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Work Schedule

This position typically requires availability Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities during weekends as needed.
