Registered Nurse Specialty (Emergency) 12hr FT Nights

About the position

The Registered Nurse delivers professional nursing care to patients whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. The RN establishes a helping relationship using a holistic approach and ensures quality and appropriate care for all age groups in the unit-specific patient population, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The RN coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Responsibilities
• Deliver professional nursing care to patients with needs ranging from uncomplicated to highly complex.
• Establish a helping relationship using a holistic approach.
• Ensure quality and appropriate care for all age groups in the unit-specific patient population, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.

Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or ASN.
• Registered Nurse licensed in the state.
• California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Nice-to-haves
• One year of acute care experience preferred.
