We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee operations at two plant nursery locations in Sylmar and Gardena. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep industry knowledge and a passion for growing, maintaining, and selling high-quality plant stock.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations at both nursery locations

• Oversee growing, fertilizing, maintaining, and selling of nursery stock

• Ensure plant quality, inventory accuracy, and proper care practices

• Lead, train, and supervise nursery staff

• Apply knowledge of popular, high-demand plants in Southern California

• Support sales efforts and provide product expertise to customers

• Maintain efficient workflows and organized nursery environments

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of management experience

• At least 10 years of experience in the nursery or horticulture industry

• Strong knowledge of plant care, growing cycles, and inventory management

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

• Ability to travel between Sylmar and Gardena locations

• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in an outdoor nursery setting
