Part-Time Farm Sales and Delivery

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farmers' Market Sales Associate and Delivery Driver to join our team at MetroGrow Hawaii, the first indoor farm in the state. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to set up and work at local Farmers' Markets (Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings) selling produce and farm value-added products. You will also be responsible for delivering products to our wholesale customers in a timely and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties
• Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods and supplies to and from the Farmers' Market and to wholesale customer locations.
• Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during markets and deliveries.
• Manage and maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage and delivery times.
• Handle any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Access to a delivery vehicle.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
• Basic sales skills are a plus.
• Ability to lift packages and goods weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Agricultural experience desired, but not required.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 18.0 per week
