INSPIRE Physical Therapy & Wellness

Meaningful care. Time to connect. A practice that understands therapy.

Are you looking for the time to truly understand your clients, think creatively, and help them participate in the activities that matter most?

At INSPIRE, we provide one-hour, one-on-one outpatient therapy in our clients’ homes and communities. Occupational therapy happens where everyday life happens—creating opportunities to make treatment practical, personal, and meaningful.

We’re seeking a Connecticut licensed Occupational Therapist to serve Stonington, Pawcatuck, and North Stonington.

Why Therapists Choose INSPIRE

• One-hour, one-on-one visits for individualized treatment, education, and caregiver training

• Mobile outpatient care, including Medicare Part B

• No OASIS, home health Start of Care assessments, or homebound requirement

• Flexible scheduling with an emphasis on manageable geographic coverage

• Paid mileage between clients

• Weekly payroll

• Therapist-owned leadership that understands clinical care

• A collaborative team that values your clinical judgment and ideas

Help Clients Participate in the Life They Want to Live
Our clients have different abilities, routines, and goals. For one person, success may mean preparing breakfast independently. For another, it may mean getting dressed with less assistance, returning to a favorite hobby, or helping a caregiver safely support daily activities.
You’ll work primarily with older adults, including people recovering from illness or injury and those living with neurological or progressive conditions.

Treatment may address

• Dressing, bathing, toileting, and other daily activities

• Meal preparation, household tasks, and daily routines

• Functional cognition and strategies for memory, organization, and task completion

• Upper extremity strength, coordination, and functional use

• Low vision strategies and environmental adaptations

• Home safety, adaptive equipment, and task modification

• Fatigue management, energy conservation, and activity participation

• Caregiver education and training

We value occupational therapy that supports recovery, adaptation, and maintenance of meaningful abilities, based on each client’s needs and goals.
Your Role

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care

• Provide skilled treatment in clients’ homes and communities

• Identify the physical, cognitive, and environmental factors affecting daily participation

• Help clients and caregivers develop practical strategies that carry over between visits

• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and other members of the care team

• Complete timely documentation and communicate changes in client needs

A Territory That Makes Sense
Your primary service area will be Stonington, Pawcatuck, and North Stonington. We work with clinicians to build schedules that consider where they live, their availability, and client needs.
Our goal is a manageable route with more time for meaningful care.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Occupational Therapist license

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills

• Commitment to individualized care and timely documentation

• Comfort working independently while staying connected to a collaborative team

• Experience in outpatient, home health, skilled nursing, or neurological rehabilitation preferred
