3 Positions Available: at Charter Casting, 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano, WI 54166

Melt Deck Operator | 3rd Shift (12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am) | $27/hr
• Transport melting materials and supplies.
• Operate melting furnace charging equipment.
• Learn to operate the melting furnaces.
• Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to refuse containers.
• Ensure safety for yourself and others in the workplace.

Grinding Operator | 3rd Shift (10-hour days, 6pm-4am, Monday to Thursday) | $25.25/hr
• Grind iron castings to precise specifications.
• Utilize power tools including robots, hand grinders, and stationary grinders.
• Perform wheel changes as needed.
• Keep accurate production records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Prior machine shop experience is advantageous!

Core Operator | 1st Shift or 3rd Shift (12-hour shifts, 6am/pm - 6pm/am) | $23/hr - $25.25/hr
• Prepare sand cores using molds to create desired shapes in iron castings.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot multiple pieces of equipment.
• Document settings in our computer system.
• Inspect cores and review process documentation.
• Carry out preventative maintenance as needed.

What You Bring:
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or a related field.
• A commitment to our values of trust, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
• A high school diploma (we can assist through our GED program).
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move items weighing up to 60lbs.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
