Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack at Citi drives enterprise-grade web applications and guides a product-focused team through the full software lifecycle. You will architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs while delivering responsive UIs with .NET Core MVC and Angular. The role sits at the intersection of engineering execution and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment. Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and manage a development team (up to 12) and coordinate with the Technology Project Manager
• Track project billing hours and maintain financials across the engagement lifecycle
• Groom with business partners to translate requirements into well-defined user stories and delivery plans
• Design and maintain responsive web interfaces using .NET Core MVC, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS
• Architect and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Design and maintain relational and NoSQL database schemas and procedures
• Manage code promotion, SDLC artifacts, and repository hygiene
• Support UAT, resolve defects to protect release timelines
• Champion CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling for automation

Key requirements
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with frontend technologies (.NET Core MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS)
• Hands-on experience with microservices using .NET Core and ASP.NET
• Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs across distributed systems
• Database development xklufbp across MS SQL, Oracle, and Couchbase
• Experience mentoring/de coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams in Agile/Scrum
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling (Harness, Tekton, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with SDLC compliance artifacts and code promotion workflows
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium) and UAT
• Exposure to container technologies and OpenShift
• Familiarity with AI fundamentals in enterprise fintech tooling
