Position Overview

Wilmington, Ohio business looking for material handler to help with the processing and day to day operation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Job Responsibilities:
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Responsible for cutting material to length for sorting, operating safely but efficiently to avoid lag times for sorters, etc.
• Complete and maintain equipment documentation.
• Operate multiple types of material handling equipment. Skid Steer, Forklift, in a safe and productive manner.
• Unload inbound trucks, sort scrap, any other duties as requested by lead man or supervisor.
• Inspect Equipment prior to operation, fuel, lubricate daily.
• Assist lead person and Supervisor with identification and tracking of all inventory upgrades and changes in classification to assist with perpetual inventory goals.
• Ability to cross train on various equipment types.
• All other duties as requested by lead person and Supervisor.

Job Requirements:
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to handle physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Team player dedicated to the organization.
• Self-motivated, dependable, ability to maintain focus.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to learn industry specific software program.
• Knowledge of scrap is a plus.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Experience: General Labor 1 year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
