• We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic Gastroenterology team.• The role involves providing high-quality care across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings.• The provider will focus on diagnosing, managing, and treating acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.• This position requires strong collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations

• Diagnose and manage GI-related conditions

• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (lab & imaging)

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care

• Educate patients on GI health, procedures, and preventive care

• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (EPIC preferred)

• Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare teams
Qualifications: • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)

• Active Idaho State License (or ability to obtain)

• Master’s Degree required

• Minimum 1 year Gastroenterology experience required

• Experience in clinic, hospital, or specialty care settings
Working Hours: • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Inpatient rotations based on coverage needs

• Occasional night call required
Skills: • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making

• Excellent communication and patient education skills

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

• Knowledge of EMR systems (EPIC preferred)

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
