Live Long Long Beach
Long Beach, CaliforniaFitness Coach
About the role
We're an irreverent, mom-and-pop group fitness studio that smells faintly of coffee and strongly of determination. No corporate jargon, no gym-fluencers, no making people feel like they needed a year of gym experience just to walk through our door. You'll lead small group classes for the 40+ crowd. Good form matters. So does knowing someone's name and their bad knee. But what matters most is never making anyone feel like a question is stupid — unless it's "do you want a donut?" Yes, that's dumb. Of course we do.
Opening in late 2026, Live Long Long Beach is on the corner of Wardlow & California, where Signal Hill, Long Beach, and Cal Heights meet. This is a part-time opportunity, with studio coverage needed M-F in the morning (6:30-8:30AM) and evening (5:30-7:30PM) blocks, and Saturday morning as well, so flexibility in your schedule and reliable transportation are a must.
You'll get to:
• Run safe, effective workouts for all fitness levels
• Coach with personality - corrections without condescension
• Build real relationships with members (they'll remember your name, because you remember theirs)
• Keep the studio running: equipment TLC, light admin, being generally awesome
