Experienced Hairstylist – Commission-Based

What You'll Do
• Provide professional hair services including cuts, color, blonding, vivid color, styling, and other services within your skill set
• Consult with guests to understand their goals and recommend services that support the health and integrity of their hair
• Create personalized looks while maintaining high standards of quality
• Build and maintain strong relationships with your clientele
• Provide a welcoming, professional, and memorable guest experience
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Recommend professional products when appropriate to help guests maintain their hair between appointments
• Continue developing your skills and staying current with trends and techniques
• Work independently while contributing positively to the salon environment

We're Looking For Someone Who
• Has professional cosmetology experience
• Holds a current cosmetology license in Indiana
• Is confident working independently with clients
• Has strong communication and consultation skills
• Takes pride in providing quality work—not just getting clients in and out of the chair
• Is dependable, professional, and respectful
• Enjoys learning and keeping up with current hair trends
• Understands the importance of healthy hair and proper product recommendations
• Wants to build a loyal clientele and grow within a salon
• Brings positive energy and treats both guests and coworkers with respect

Experience with color, blonding, vivid color, and/or cutting is a plus.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position.
