In this role, you drive the strategic roadmap for a Tier-1 provider, advancing mobility, IoT and Edge AI initiatives from 5G toward future 6G-ready architectures. You oversee lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and liaise with executives to align Cisco capabilities with the customer’s long-term goals. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast, collaborative environment. You’ll contribute to growth opportunities beyond the core contract while shaping the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end lifecycles for mobility, IoT, and emerging architectures, including roadmap planning, upgrades and releases
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear product specs and execution plans
• Drive evolution from 5G deployments to 5G-Advanced and 6G-ready designs
• Identify and develop growth opportunities beyond the core contract (Edge AI, AI inferencing, mobility infrastructure)
• Align IoT Control Center, mobility units, and Cisco product teams to deliver a unified value proposition
• Build data-backed business cases linking Cisco technology to measurable customer outcomes
• Engage senior customer executives and internal leadership to shape roadmaps
• Navigate matrixed organizations to influence cross-functional teams toward shared goals
• Operate with high autonomy to manage risks and navigate ambiguity

Key requirements
• 10+ years in product management, product lifecycle management, solution architecture, service provider networking, mobility or related tech domains
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline
• Experience with mobility technologies and standards (3GPP, LTE/4G, 5G, 5G-Advanced, xklufbp evolving 6G)
• Experience with service provider networks, mobility solutions, or large-scale telecom infrastructure
• Experience translating customer needs into product requirements and business outcomes
• Executive-level communication skills for presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional collaborators
