As an Assistant Store Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our store by utilizing your exceptional communication and leadership skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
• Direct, train, and support less experienced team members.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers promptly and courteously, assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Handle cashier responsibilities, including processing transactions and providing receipts.
• Organize and display products effectively for ease of customer access.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including restocking shelves as needed.
• Order merchandise and monitor inventory as assigned.
• Help prevent loss by monitoring customer activity within the store.
• Create attractive displays for promotions and special events.
• Uphold and promote a strong safety culture by adhering to all safety policies and regulations. Identify and report any workplace hazards promptly.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
• 3+ years of experience in retail, merchandising, and customer service.
Additional Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills in English for interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills to operate store equipment including cash registers and record-keeping systems.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Flexible work hours preferred.
