Cyndi's Gardens is seeking a creative, motivated, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help oversee merchandising, buying, marketing, and daily operations at our unique garden center and boutique.

Our business features multiple greenhouses, houseplants, seasonal flowers, home décor, holiday merchandise, and creative workshops.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain beautiful merchandise displays throughout our store and greenhouses

• Assist with buying, vendor relationships, inventory, and product selection

• Unpack, price, organize, move, and merchandise products

• Help plan and execute social media marketing, promotions, and special events

• Assist with seasonal transitions, including large-scale Christmas displays and spring greenhouse preparation

• Coordinate daily store projects and help direct team members

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with daily retail operations

• Work directly with ownership to develop ideas and carry them through to completion

• Help oversee store operations during assigned weekend shifts

Qualifications

• Previous retail merchandising or management experience preferred

• Strong visual merchandising and organizational skills

• Comfortable with physically active work, including lifting and moving merchandise

• Creative, dependable, and self-motivated

• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects

• Comfortable working in greenhouses and outdoor retail environments

• Experience with social media marketing and retail buying is a plus

• Availability to work weekends, including some Saturdays and Sundays

This is a hands-on position, not a desk job. We are looking for someone who enjoys both the creative and physical aspects of retail and takes pride in completing projects.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
