Join the leadership team at our shoe store! We are searching for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the management of daily operations and assist the team. In this full-time position, you'll have key holder responsibilities and set a positive example while creating a welcoming, customer-centric store atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open and close the store with key holder duties
• Assist the General Manager in achieving sales targets
• Lead customer service initiatives and address issues effectively
• Train and mentor staff on procedures and expectations
• Assign daily tasks and manage staff breaks
• Help with visual merchandising and store appearance
• Execute register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash management
• Adhere to and encourage loss prevention practices
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Strong customer service skills with a positive outlook
• Minimum of 2 years in retail or customer service
• Supervisory experience is advantageous
• Ability to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years or older due to keyholder roles, including store opening/closing and equipment operation
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be comfortable with bending, reaching, and being on your feet
