We are seeking an experienced, polished, and hands-on Assistant General Manager to join a highly regarded upscale restaurant in Birmingham, AL.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in upscale dining, fine dining, or high-volume polished casual restaurants, along with the leadership presence and business acumen to help take an already successful operation to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and operational consistency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop FOH management and service teams.
• Maintain elevated hospitality standards and deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Drive financial performance through effective labor management, cost controls, and revenue optimization.
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and employee development.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
• Handle guest relations and service recovery with professionalism and confidence.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure seamless FOH and BOH operations.
• Support strategic initiatives to improve profitability, guest satisfaction, and overall restaurant performance.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably as an Assistant General Manager, General Manager, or Senior Restaurant Manager.
• Proven success in upscale, fine-dining, or high-volume restaurant environments.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, P&L management, labor costs, and operational efficiency.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Passion for hospitality and a genuine commitment to the guest experience.
• Professional presence, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example.
• Experience working with established, high-performing restaurant concepts preferred.

Compensation & Opportunity
