As an Accounting Analyst, you will support core accounting operations for a financial services organization. You will work in a fully remote, long-term contract role based in New York, NY, handling high-volume receivables processing and related activities. You’ll contribute to cash application, billing support, payables assistance, and reconciliations, while adapting to changing priorities. Your work enables accurate financial records and timely reporting, collaborating with the broader finance team. This role offers steady detail‑oriented work with opportunities to tackle special projects and process improvement.

Responsibilities
• Process customer receivable activity on schedule to maintain current records
• Record and apply incoming payments and resolve routine discrepancies
• Assist with payable workflows and invoice review for payment processing
• Prepare and distribute recurring accounting reports for weekly operational tracking
• Monitor service tickets, follow up on open items, and meet deadlines
• Perform reconciliations to identify variances and ensure ledger accuracy
• Handle billing support tasks xhuatnn and contribute to day-to-day accounting
• Complete onboarding training for internal software tools and use platforms effectively
• Support special assignments and ad hoc projects as needed
