Role and Responsibilities:

As a Groomer, you will deliver professional grooming services while ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of pets and providing an exceptional experience for pet parents.
• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning
• Ensure all grooming services meet company standards and pet parent expectations
• Prioritize pet safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the grooming process
• Assess pet condition and communicate any concerns to pet parents or management
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and salon area
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with pet parents
• Recommend grooming services, products, and care routines based on pet needs
• Support salon operations and complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in professional pet grooming
• Strong technical grooming skills including breed-specific cuts and styling
• Knowledge of pet handling, safety, and grooming best practices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Passion for animal care and well-being

Supervision:
• Works under moderate to limited supervision from Grooming Salon Leader or Store Management
• Exercises independent judgment in grooming services and pet care
• No direct supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
• Work primarily in a grooming salon within a retail environment
• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting
• Ability to safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments
• Exposure to water, grooming tools, cleaning products, and pet hair
• Regular interaction with pets and pet owners
