2027 Business Development Analyst Internship - Baltimore MD or McLean VA

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support business development, capture, or specific projects by performing various activities.

• Gather, collect, record, track, verify, and synthesize data and information from multiple sources.

• Develop metrics, profiles, and analyze market trends.

• Create training materials for new capture classes and assist with new business development initiatives.

• Develop templates for critical executive reviews such as Gate reviews and independent assessments.

• Use business development tools like SalesForce, open-source data, AI, and Microsoft Office Suite to research, document key information, and create reports.

• Support executive-level presentations and dashboards using various tools.

• Assist with process improvement and digital transformation efforts.

• This role offers a hybrid work schedule.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled full-time undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or related fields, with full-time enrollment planned for Fall 2027.

• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.

• U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special access within a reasonable timeframe.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.

• Experience or aptitude in data analysis, business/financial planning, and data visualization.

• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to create and manage project plans and work with cross-functional teams.

• Experience working autonomously on complex projects.

• Active security clearance is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Intern pay ranges from $18.25 to $33.00 per hour for bachelor's degree candidates.

• Intern pay ranges from $26.25 to $41.50 per hour for master's degree candidates.

• Potential eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses depending on position.
